
Murder Mansion is a game where you play as the murderer in a murder mystery game and try to murder all of the other characters murderously. As an AI sample piece it is actually pretty cool.
This game turned out to be far more ambitious than we anticipated it would be when we started it. There were a lot of obstacles this project needed to overcome including navigation between different rooms, making it so characters follow each other, making it so that characters don't stand in the same position, running the AI behavior for characters in rooms that are not loaded, and communication between the characters. On top of that actually planning what we wanted to do with the game was a nightmare.

The game is admittedly not much fun. My previous projects are actually way more fun to play. Even without a proper vision though this game is still pretty interesting just in the kinds of problems it had to work around.
